The End of An Era.

The Milk Pail Market has had a very long life on the corner of California Street and San Antonio Road in Mountain View.

It began in 1974 is a drive-through dairy, and has outlived all other businesses that have come and gone in the greater San Antonio Shopping Center. 

Since 1974 they have served tens of thousands of customers one day at a time. After much thought, the Rasmussen family has sold The Milk Pail property and will bring closure to that business. For over four decades The Milk Pail has provided fresh produce and unique specialty products as significant discounts to shoppers and Mountain View and beyond.

The Milk Pail has been not just a business but a community relationship. The wave of development in Silicon Valley has brought many changes. It was inevitable that one day The Milk Pail would be a part of that change.
